Full Time – Bath

An exciting opportunity has arisen TODAY to join a highly-reputable company in the centre of Bath as a Communications Assistant, to support in the development and implementation of communication strategies. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a creative flare and possess previous business administration experience within an office environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work with management and external stakeholders to deliver, produce and edit communications
  • Maintain communications folder and ensure up to date materials are available
  • Edit, write and coordinate copy for profiling, news pieces and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Coordinate multi-departmental correspondence via emails and enquiries
  • Update, maintain and edit websites, social media and work with developing team to ensure functionality and development
  • Organise, establish and manage own work plan, considering how this contributes to overall communications plan and ensure flexible and realistic approach to respond to demands
  • Monitor data and analytics for external and internal events and travel arrangements
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, maintaining flexibility to respond to priorities and ensuring continued cover of duties in cases of team absences.

Skills & Experience:

  • Business administration experience
  • Confident written and verbal skills
  • Communications skills
  • Previous marketing/comms experience (ideal)
  • Website editing experience/skills (ideal)
  • Creative thinker
  • Organisational skills
  • IT literate – Microsoft Office, Social media channels and online management systems
  • Pro-active attitude and problem-solving nature
  • Ability to work in a team in addition to independently

Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annum + benefits
