Waiting for an increase?
Almost 9 million UK workers still await a pay increase following recession cuts.
76% of those affected expect their salary to be restored to its original level within the year, despite the fact that only 15% have been told that this will be the case.
The study found that employers continue to implement non-financial incentives in a bid to retain staff members. Such incentives include flexible working, further training, increased holiday entitlement and the option of remote working.
