Payslip Confusion?
The Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) has brought to light the fact that one in ten employees does not fully understand their payslip.
The IPP reminds workers of the importance of understanding each aspect; ensuring that National Insurance, tax, benefits and pension deductions are all correct and, therefore, that the overall calculation is as expected.
With National Payroll Week taking place from 6-10th September, it is an appropriate time for those who are unsure to clarify their understanding with their payroll department.
