Early rising!
The chillier, noticeably darker, autumn mornings can make it rather challenging to rise in good time, however, a delayed and groggy start rarely leads to the most productive working day...
How to rise earlier:
1. Set one alarm only: preferably placing this at the opposite end of the room, providing you with no other option than to get out of bed.
2. Once up, don't return! Pop on a light and allow your body to wake-up. A spot of exercise will invigorate your body and a refreshing shower will certainly give you a boost.
3. Energise with breakfast: the time you have saved by not snoozing your alarm will allow you a nutritious, energising breakfast
4. Positive thinking: don't dwell on the potential negatives of the day, but rather consider the positives, focusing on what you may be able to achieve.
5. Reap the rewards of a positive start to the day!
