Feeling the pinch?

The majority of UK employees have not received a pay rise since the start of 2011. The CIPD's latest research reveals that almost 60% of employees have encountered a pay freeze, with 6% receiving a pay cut.

Only 28% of all workers have had a pay rise this year.

Public sector employees are worst hit, with 77% of employees affected by pay freezes and a minority of 13% of workers receiving an increase.
