Repeatedly rejected at the interview stage? There's the chance that your body language and nervous habits are letting you down.

A leading careers website has found that the inability to hold eye contact, a weak handshake and lack of smiles are the most off-putting interview habits.

Crossed arms, fidgeting, poor posture and over-gesticulation were also mentioned by interviewers.

But beware of taking things to the extreme, 6% of respondents also reported to dislike an overly strong handshake!
