Graduate Pool declining...

The pool of 'Top Graduates' available for work is declining, while an increasing number of Employers are looking to recruit from the upper 5% of the Graduate pool.

This is, in part, due to the number of Graduates who have been driven into Masters courses for fear of not easily being able to find work.

Even those Students undertaking Masters courses have been advised to enter into Internships in order to gain Commercial experience, in the face of stiff competition.

It has been suggested that Undergraduates will continue to face a future of heightened competition, leading to a pressure to attend the top Universities, or gain a First from one of the second tier establishments.
